Learning journey blueprint

People apply what they learn between sessions

A journey is three or four live sessions of two hours, spread over three or four weeks, with about an hour of real work in between each one. People get four chances to try something, get it wrong, and bring the problem back to a trainer.

A learning journey gives people the space to apply their learnings

A journey spreads the same hours across four weeks, with a transfer task between every session: about an hour, on the person's own real work, with a specific output. The next session then starts from what actually happened rather than from the slide deck.

The same group stays together for all four weeks and builds a circle of trust, so people share challenges easily.

People get several chances to apply their learnings.
The same 12 to 50 people stay together all the way through.
It is offered modularly if you want, so people can join all four sessions or only the one relevant to them.
A cohort session in week two

This works for some companies and not for others

Good fit

✓The behaviour has to change, not just the knowledge.
✓People can protect two hours a week for three or four weeks.
✓You want a plan or a built thing at the end, not attendance.
✓The group is roughly at the same level.

Not a good fit

·The two hours a week are unrealistic right now. Coaching fits that calendar better.
·You need 2,000 people trained fast. Use e-learning and challenges for reach.
·You want it self-paced.
·You want a one-off inspiration session. That is a workshop, or a keynote.

We're here to answer all your questions

What if someone misses a session? +

There is a recording and the group catches them up. Anyone who misses two of four should join the next cohort instead.

Can people join only one session? +

Yes. The journey is built modularly, so somebody can take the whole thing or only the session relevant to them.

How big can a cohort be? +

Up to 50 people can join. Above that the transfer tasks stop getting discussed properly, and the discussion is half the value.

How is this different from a self-paced online course? +

A self-paced course teaches the tool. A journey works on the person's own tasks with a trainer watching, and with the same peers for a month.

What does it cost? +

It is priced per journey, with volume tiers, plus a one-time setup fee if the journey has to be built from scratch. A range comes out of the first call.
